Sony hi-fi system. Classic 90s. Fully revitalized. Price with cabinet.
The set has been fully reviewed and serviced.
In our projects we do not use veneers that are thin, unreliable and, above all, not resistant to damage!
We use only the highest quality veneers,  i.e. wood sheets of 3-5mm thickness. Thanks to this solution and the bonding technology we have developed, our products are equipped with durable and beautiful enclosures.

Description

Sony hi-fi system. Classic 1990s. Fully revitalized. Price with cabinet.

The company was founded by Masaru Ibuka and Akio Morita in Tokyo in 1946 as the Tokyo Tsushin Kenkyu-jo research institute, initially providing maintenance services. A year later, it was transformed into Tokyo Tsushin Kogyo Kabushiki Kaisha (Totsuko for short), mainly focused on the production of telecommunications equipment and voltmeters. The 1950s were the groundbreaking time for the company. That was when the tape recorder and transistor radio were created, and in 1955 the decision was made to use the SONY logo on Totsuko products. The name came from the Latin word ‘sonus’ for sound and ‘sonny boy’ – used in the US to describe a little boy. The 1960s were a period of rapid development and international expansion for the company. The TA-1120, the world’s first silicon transistor based amplifier, was also created then. In 1979, the iconic SONY product was launched, i.e. a portable ‘walkman’ cassette player. In the following decades, the company also introduced and promoted such trademarks as discman, trinitron and playstation.

The rapid growth of the company contributed to the increase in sales and built its reputation. In 1960, the decision was made to open the first foreign branches in the US and Switzerland, which elevated Sony to a status of a real international corporation.

The presented hi-fi system from the first half of the 90s consisting of the TA-F419R amplifier, the ST-S211 tuner, the TC-WR690 tape recorder, the SEQ-711 graphic equalizer and the CDP-211 player was advertised by Sony under the slogan “The World of Entertainment”. In addition, the manufacturer recommended this set to play bands such as Spin Doctors and Culture Beat. The system is the quintessence of the 90s electronic sound characterized by clear treble and dynamic bass.

All models in the set are in metal enclosures. New side boards made of exotic doussie wood create an elegant look. The wood finish is Chinese oil produced from natural oils. The metal elements of the enclosures have been painted using the automotive wet painting technique. Potentiometers in perfect condition.

The presented system comes with a specially designed FD Store cabinet, made of high quality plywood finished with satin varnish and resting on beech legs in vintage style. The simple design of the cabinet emphasizes the set’s typically 90s’ character and will look great both in an industrial loft and stylish Scandinavian interiors.

The set has been fully reviewed and serviced.
