In our projects we do not use veneers that are thin, unreliable and, above all, not resistant to damage!
We use only the highest quality veneers,  i.e. wood sheets of 3-5mm thickness. Thanks to this solution and the bonding technology we have developed, our products are equipped with durable and beautiful enclosures.

Description

Pioneer SA 7800 amplifier. Classic Vintage. Fully revitalized.

In 1937 Nozomu Matsumoto created the first magnetoelectric speaker in Japan, and a year later, in Tokyo, he registered the company under the name Fukuin Shokai Denki Seisakusho. In 1961, the company’s name was changed to Pioneer Electronic Corporation. However, the breakthrough came in 1962, when the company entered the Tokyo Stock Exchange and created the world’s first stereo system with speakers in separate housings. Four years later, Pioneer opened branches in the USA and in Europe. In 1978, the company created one of the best-known and most powerful receivers in its history SX-1980. Pioneer can also be proud of great successes in the world of auto-moto, as it introduced in 1975 the world’s first automotive stereo subassembly, then in 1984 a CD player and GPS navigation in 1990. The company also played a major role in the development of DVDs, plasma TVs and technologies Organic LED display (OLED). The company is currently part of Pioneer & Onkyo Corporation.

The SA 7800 is an iconic amplifier from the second half of the 1970s. The model has been equipped with a “non-switching” system designed by the Pioneer’s engineers looking for a solution to the problems encountered by users of class A and AB audio devices. Thanks to the original technologies of Super Linear RETs and PVB Circuit, the SA 7800 was a huge success. Its quality exceeds the class A and AB amplifiers. This model is distinguished by unique clarity, smoothness and dynamics of sound. Its sound is not as warm and round as most of vintage amplifiers. Fans describe it as more modern, almost “intoxicating”. The SA 7800’s specification: 0,009% THD and 110 dB signal-to-noise ratio confirms that. What is more, the model sounds amazing in all music genres.

The enclosure has been completely revitalized, made of pear wood. The wood finishing is Chinese oil produced from natural oils, and natural turpentine-based beeswax.  Potentiometers are in perfect condition. Metal elements of the enclosure have been cleared and painted using the automotive wet painting technique. The device has been fully reviewed and serviced, it was given new aluminium legs.

Collector’s model. The device is in perfect condition.
