Description
Pioneer CT F1000 cassette deck. Classic Vintage. Fully revitalized.
In 1937 Nozomu Matsumoto created the first magnetoelectric speaker in Japan, and a year later, he registered in Tokyo the company with the name Fukuin Shokai Denki Seisakusho. In 1961, the company’s name was changed to Pioneer Electronic Corporation. However, the breakthrough came in 1962, when the company entered the Tokyo Stock Exchange and created the world’s first stereo system with speakers in separate housings. Four years later, Pioneer opened branches in the USA and in Europe.
In 1978, the company created one of the best-known and most powerful receivers in its history SX-1980. Pioneer can also be proud of great successes in the world of auto-moto, as it introduced in 1975 the world’s first automotive stereo subassembly, then in 1984 a CD player and GPS navigation in 1990. The company also played a major role in the development of DVDs, plasma TVs and Organic LED display technologies (OLED). The company is currently a part of Pioneer & Onkyo Corporation.
The CT-F1000 is a high-quality Pioneer cassette deck from the second half of the seventies equipped with many advanced playback and recording functions (including automatic Cr02 tape detector, pitch control, memory stop, MPX filter, tape slack eliminator, full auto stop, buttons controlled by an electromagnet).
The unique playback and recording heads are made of a single ferrite crystal instead of the usual ferrite grains, and the high-quality DC servo motor ensures low level of noise and flutter.
As befits one of the outstanding representatives of the “golden age of audio”, this model is also distinguished by remarkable precision of its structure and sound. After recording tracks from a gramophone record onto a cassette, we get 100% of the original reproduction with a slight soft accent.
The device has been equipped with a new enclosure matching the design, made of exotic acajou wood with finishing in Chinese oil produced from natural oils. The new enclosure can be replaced with the original metal one which has been sandblasted and painted black using the automotive wet painting technique.
Potentiometers in perfect condition. The front panel is made of brushed aluminum. New blue-violet illumination of the cassette deck and indicators.
The device has been fully reviewed and serviced. Collector’s item. Perfect condition!
